Referee Application
Would you like to be a referee?
Every season, Newmarket is looking for enthusiastic, young and/or mature people to become referees. Minimum age to become an official is 14 (as of December 31st, 2010).
If you are a Newmarket resident and are interested in officiating next season (2010 - 2011) please fill in the application below.
Applicants will participate in a full day clinic which includes a written test and an on-ice session. Based on these results, we will invite the successful participants to the OMHA Level I clinic in the middle of October. After you attend the OMHA Clinic you will then be able to referee in Newmarket!
NOTE: If you are chosen to referee in Newmarket, you will be required to purchase a Police Record Check (PRC) before you are able to attend the OMHA clinic.
